What sets the date

The delivery window shown at checkout depends on where the item ships from, which shipping option you pick and where you are. It is calculated for your order, which is why we cannot publish a number here that would be true for everybody. Once the parcel is moving, tracking appears in your order history.

If you are buying for a fixed date

Costume seasons are the one time when a few days matter, and they are also when everything is slowest. Order early enough to open the parcel, try the suit on and still have time to exchange it — a week of margin is not excessive in October.

Try it on the day it arrives even if the event is weeks away. Two of the three problems people report in this range — a size that runs small and a zipper that fails on first use — only show up once the suit is on, and both are easy to fix with time in hand and impossible to fix the night before.
